Watch the Pickle but don't post on his blog. He's basically down to talking to himself so there's not many left to convince that what he claims is a fairytale. The few still posting in support of him are our old nemeses anyway and they already know the truth and it isn't what they are telling either.

I have come to the conclusion (hey, so I'm slow!) that as much as we care about the bashing, no one cares more than Clay and "Team Clay". I'm quite sure they know much more about this character than we will ever know and are monitoring him closely. As well as the others bashers.
We have watched the news on television, both current news and past, and are reminded that there are some real nut cases out there. When we try to reason with the likes of them with rational thinking, there is no common ground. They simply do not process things in their brain the way normal people do. It is a waste of our time and effort.
My time is better spent in that place that makes me happy - and that is as a Clay Aiken fan! The haters will always believe that I buy tons of CD's. I do not. They will believe that I travel all over the country to see him. I do not. Now, if I could afford to, I would. I am forever grateful to those who are blessed with deeper pockets than I because I get to see the pictures and videos they take and so graciously share with all of us. I will be forever grateful to those who produce the most wonderful photo blends and montages. I'll leave the tracking of JP and the like to the professionals who are no doubt watching their every move. I wish it didn't have to be that way for Clay, but it is a testament to the star that we know him to be. That voice didn't find its way into our souls for no reason.

I'm not sure I would agree with the comment about Clay not becoming a famous singer if not for AI. He is a phenom and we would have found him one way or another. He was destined for stardom as were the others. Fate just loaned a helping hand to get them the polish they needed and that will be the only good part of AI's legacy. Today has been one of the worse days at Buddy's over Clay's refusal to do an interview with Diane.
Perez has a new Clay blog up with a link to MySpace. They are bashing WY.

1. We don't know if there is anything definite about GMA, it's rumor right now.
2. We don't know that there was a stipulation not to talk about the lies. Diane is a Claymate and knows the truth. She and Clay are friends. The liars said the same thing when Clay was going to be on AI5
3. Reputable media has no interest in the Pickle's story because it's all bullshit they've heard before from others and they know the ropes when it comes to celebrity stalkers.

Hi Clay. My girlfriend is annoyed with me because I like you. I don't think it was that big a deal until she found out I had a dream about the two of us auditioning for a role in the new Superman movie. She gets really upset when I walk around in blue tights, so I dont attribute all of her displeasure to the mere fact that I am a Claymate.

I know, WRU, but "These Open Arms" is amazing by Clay and that song alone would sell the album, IMO. I was all for WY being the first single because it's great as is the duet, but I was totally unprepared for the way TOA hit me upside the head. I'm betting it will not only be a #1 hit but it would be a SMASH HIT. I feel the same about "Lonely No More".

Yesterday - I tried to go through and research the amount of Clay Aiken fan sites and Message boards with fan memberships that were still active. I found 476 fan sites and I came across 62 active message boards and haven't counted dozens more that I couldn't view because you had to be a member with a password. The smallest board had only 38 members and one of the largest had well over 15,000 members. I couldn't count a lot of the Yahoo groups, nor a lot of the MSN groups because again - you had to have a password to view. I knew that several had large fan memberships. I didn't count the international fan sites but did look at a few - in Singapore, philippines, and a Korean fan club with over 10,000 members. Did you know that the Neurox Idol Forum has 53,941 registered members and that Clay Aiken has the largest amount of active users? His site has 45,602 topics with 989,855 replies, and had 764 active users within 20 minutes this evening at 11:30! The next highest membership participation group is for Carrie Underwood with 8708 topics and 135,941 replies. I thought this interesting. Also something else I found to be interesting was on a fan site in the Philippines where a young girl was discussing that she was a brand new fan of Clay's and had never seen him before his performance on the American Idol finale in May. There were quite a number of new fans. I've been a Clay fan from the beginning. I am antsy waiting for Sep 19. I've got snippets looping in my itunes.
Even though I personally wanted an edgier Clay for this album, I now believe 100% the right choice was made for this time. This decision is also perfect for promoting Clay in the world market.
We know Clay and his team experimented with many songs and styles. I speculate the next album will be a departure and that so far his team has done everything just right.
