Just want to borrow a couple of excerpts from the Official Qualifications of what an applicant for a Government Committee has to undergo before he/she is approved and finally sworn in:

So what does this tell us? It tells us that somebody actually DID their homework and it wasn't just ANYBODY; it WAS NOT someone who cuts and pastes a couple of facts and a lot of "fiction" to suit one's "Agenda". It was the US Government checking out our guy to make sure he is qualified and clean of anything that would "embarrass" the President or himself.
NOW...what does THIS tell us? It tell us that our Government and the President KNOW that Clay Aiken doesn't go "trolling the internet" for gay hookups as a handful of vile humans would have the public believe.
Who are these "vile humans" (do they even qualify for being human)?
1. They are Clay's KNOWN and spurned female stalkers.
2. They are gay activists who "out" anybody, gay or NOT, if one doesn't play
by their rules and be their advocate in some way.
3. They are a few lusty "queens" with their own fantasies (PH, we SO KNOW).
4. It is the little gay guy, Purple Gherkin Paulus, who can only DREAM up shit.
5. They are the Cafe Allegro ladies (gag) who THOUGHT they were ENTITLED to run BAF
and get in Clay's pants.
6. They are Groucho, Shannon and the Pips from Kelly Clarkson Express who think
Clay has a chance to overtake their gal in CD sales and popularity.
7. They are Emach and a militant few (formerly known as "Soulful Ruben") who are
known for some pretty crass and borderline criminal activities to hurt Clay
and his fans.
These people joined forces for ONE reason: SMEAR CAMPAIGN
All our efforts to keep these people exposed to the public as LIARS and to expose Pickle Pussy Paulus (who NEVER met Clay Aiken) for the scam artist he is has been upstaged by the PRES. By Swearing In Clay Aiken next Thursday the PRESIDENT of the US is declaring, after a thorough investigation, that Paulus NEVER existed in Clay Aiken's life.
Everything JP wants people to believe DIDN'T happen, but WE faithful fans already knew that and so did the above. Their goal is to stunt the sales of Clay's new CD so he doesn't surpass Kelly's sales and if they can ruin his reputation in the process then their life's mission will be over. Does accomplishing this mission mean they will bless us by curling up to die? NO... I'm sure they'll go after Taylor next because he poses the next biggest threat to Kelly and Ruben. A lot of politicians have been the target of smear campaigns. Most all of the Presidents have had terrible things said about them. In fact, they have tabloid stories written about them all the time. Most are untrue or way slanted to look worse. Any idiot knows this.

If they don't think the committee is impressive, then why are they worried? Why would they not want someone to try to do good work toward helping certain people in our society who really need it. It boggles my mind.

My brother works with the Pentagon as a LT Colonel, any Federal appointments have to get a background check that is equal or better than a DOD (Dept of Defense) Secret Clearance. I think everything will take care of itself. This couldn't have happened at a better time for OMC. The Feds will investigate everyone and anyone associated with our guy and take appropriate action to protect him, I'm quite sure of it.
PH was always blogging some story about Clay. Invaribly, someone would post and say that Clay contacted them using VPB. This would somehow bolster PH's credibility. But I never believed it.
First of all, we all know how modest Clay WAS and he never understood the "sex appeal" thing. I could never see him naming himself VPB. It just never fit.
But someone used it continually to build a reputation with that screen name, cruising the Internet, and sending out Clay's promo pics, which we all have, and to give the gay gossip sites more credibility.
One glaring inconsistency came from the poster last Aug. saying Clay contacted him on Manhunt using VPB. That was before JP claimed that Clay's Manhunt profile wasn't established until Nov. 3 while in Portland. When I called JP on it and asked him to post the entire profile showing the date he became a member, he said he couldn't because he wasn't a member any longer.

Anon at 8:31 are you talking about the Pure Fashion fiasco? Clay was slated to help David Foster out and give a performance at the Pure Fashion show for teens. Pure Fashion opened it up to Clay fans so they could fill the empty tables. Fans and their teens took up 37 of their 44 unfilled tables.
Fans booked and paid for their flights and hotel reservations but Buttee and the swamp adopted Emach's email campaign shit and they caused the coordinators at Pure Fashion to cancel Clay because he failed to respond to the tabloid shit.
Pure Fashion had the nerve to ask those who cancelled their reservations to donate the money to them anyway. I think some still went but most did cancel and demanded their money back. The fans will never be reimbursed for the flights they paid for.

I had to have a background check and Top Secret clearance to work at an Air Force Base Education Center back in 1971 when my husband was stationed at a base in England. I was a simple employee enrolling GI's in college classes. I would imagine the check on Clay went much deeper than the one done on me.
Believe me, remember we are at war. Any background checks with someone meeting the President of the US during a state of war are THOROUGH!

On the Keith Oberman show tonight, MSNBC, he and his guest, Paul Tompkins, mentioned Clay's appointment and then PT said, "Doesn't Pres. Bush know that Clay is gay?"
As far as the background checks, one line out of all the rules and stipulations I read, jumped out at me.

I find it interesting that Clay made a public statement disclaiming Butty and all the tabloid rumors as "scurrilous allegations and untruths." They can refuse to believe it all they want. The statement still stands.
Then the article regarding Michael Buble came out where Michael disclosed something Clay said to him in private, not knowing Michael would repeat it in an interview; that he was smeared on a daily basis in the tabloids.
Then we learn that Clay has been on the Pres.'s list for at least a year...plenty of time for a background check, and he passed!
And the latest is the US Weekly article accusing Butty of taking money for the story, which he has denied from the beginning, and then apologizing. I love the fact they didn't elaborate.

Dang I wish I was at liberty to contribute more to this conversation..arrrgh....I can tell that that Top Secret is not that big of a deal. The control and access of military and protected information is compartmented so that no one person has more than a finite part of the puzzle. Thereare also granting agencies...the DOD being the bottom rung. Most people don't have casual knowledge of these other agencies.
Aside from the obvious clearances that were run before this appointment was made public, does anone believe for one second that TC would have allowed this nomination process to go forward without complete confidence of a background search and full disclosure of the Purity Fashion Show incident? I wouldn't be surprised if those Pure Beauty e mails were not traced back as part of this clearance process. Yes...those same names just keep showing up don't they? It sure is easy to run a background search these days with computers. LOL, in the old days they had to rely on a chain of personal interviews. That is only a part of it these days. oh, i'd say she was DEFINITELY leaning =) Clay has this rare twist of masculine sex appeal and boyishly handsome cuteness that is just too charming to resist, but then mixed with a bit of dorky modesty, it doesn't come off at all self-aggrandizing or boastful, even though he has every reason in the world to feel proud of himself and all his accomplishments =) he's just a really wonderful person to the very core, and that's not "blind fan talk" either. it's a very real and honest assessment of the man.

DirectorSandi of KCE is TinFoil, and what they are doing in their private area of their board is rather funny actually. Every post they make is screencapped and sent off to the right people, and guess what? Their IP addresses are documented and compared to where they were posting before, along as the alternate names they use.
Sad, sad bunch all these people are. But Karma is a bitch, and they will all go down together. Pictures and facts are ready to go if necessary. Nope, not one of the facts have been photoshopped, or fixed (like LimpDicks emails). All truth. All Real.

Wait, you're not REALLY interested, but I'll tell you one thing that contributed greatly to my swinging more towards him being gay than het.
I had a feeling he was gay when I saw him during his AI audition. It wasn't his speaking voice, because plenty of Southern HET men speak exactly that way. It was just a feeling, based on nothing in particular.
One thing in particular that eventually happened was when he won the wildcard (I think), and he buried his head in Kim Locke's chest.
Here were two virtual strangers at that point, despite whatever friendship they may have BEGUN to start forming early on during the preliminaries.
I can speak only from my own experience in life, but I honestly don't know of any het female who would allow a het male who she barely knows to bury his head on her chest, because he's experiencing some temporary wave of relief. It just doesn't compute. I could be wrong, and Kim functions under an entirely different thought process than I do.
However, it's my opinion that Kim already knew herself that he was gay, so she was not at all bothered by Clay burying his head in her chest. Although it was on national TV, it was something that the two of THEM were comfortable with, and it was without a doubt NOT two people forming a "romantic" relationship.
Then, after AI, when they lived together, it clinched it for me. Not saying that a het male and het female can't live under the same roof as friends, but there was the fact that Clay had roomed with females during college too.
Not big things at all, but just "little" things that, when looked at from a non-emotional standpoint, point to Clay being a gay guy who thoroughly enjoys the company of females, but simply has no sexual interest in them.

GJ&C - Kim Locke was NOT present the night Clay won wildcard. She and Ruben were the two who won from their group of 3 out of the 32 and Clay was sent home. Three weeks later, 8 contestants were brought back to compete on Wildcard night. Each of the judges chose one contestant and the People chose Clay...8,000,000 votes out of 11,000,000, as I recall.
Clay did not "bury" his head in anyone's chest. His head moved forward for a hug and his forehead hit her upper chest, momentarily. You can relive the moment on YouTube.

Had GJ&C listened to a radio interview that most of us did (the one where Clay asked the DJ if this was a high school interview), she would have heard the DJ ask if there was anything between Clay and Kim L and Clay said "NOT YET" which means he was hoping (a lot of us were) that there might be in the future. guys, i so don't want to sound melodramatic, but i just can't help it. THIS IS MUSIC!!! this is what music is all about. making you FEEL! Clay has batted this one right out of the ballpark. It's absolutely wonderful, and OhC is absolutely correct, FORGET about the snippets! they don't even show one iota of what this album is and will be!!
