Holleman vs Aiken: Greed vs Class

A few comments have already made their way here and I'll be bringing over related comments that were posted to the previous blog. For those who want to get current with the latest, you can read it here:

http://clay-aiken-news.blogspot.com/2007/0...clay-aiken.html

Seems that Ms. Holleman's attorney chose to showboat a topic that had NOTHING to do with the case at hand and in essence was outclassed "on all fours" by Clay's attorney. What the outcome will be, I have no clue. I'm not too trusting of justice anymore. If the system works correctly the judge will throw out this frivolous suit, penalize the plaintiff and her attorney, and Rockey baby will be disbarred for her total lack of ethics. Using Ms. Holleman's past abuse experiences as relevant in her presentation seems out of whack. Could it be that these women never expected this to make it through the Courts? Were they expecting some sort of payoff before things advanced into the judge's hands?

Backtracking some facts:

The plaintiff's attorney left a shitty message in the book review section of Amazon.com months ago totally ignoring the book and writing a review of her case. Something very familiar about her dropping an innuendo into that "review" as well. At first people were giving the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just one of the haters doing their thing in one of their chosen fields,Impersonation, but then the attorney pretty much played the same card on her site.

I don't believe I've ever seen anything like this which made me contemplate my navel. Why? Is she a Kelly Clarkson fan, a Ruben Studdard fan, part of the Gay Hit Contingency? Or is she just that loony? JP claimed in the past to "know" Jeannie Holleman and he thought about using Ms Rockey himself at some point in time. Things that make you go, "Hmmmmmmm?" If I was Clay's attorney I'd issue a subpoena for Ms. Holleman's bank statements to see if her attorney PAID HER to file this suit.

I'm open to anyone else's theory if you have one.

It has become quite obvious that Paulass is in cahoots with Holleman and her attorney. First, he claimed his accusations of the past year were a hoax, probably because he thought he might get deposed. While he would lie on the internet and during a lie detector test, he won't lie under oath because he knows he'll get slapped with a perjury charge, simply because Clay's attorneys have ample and irrefutable evidence of Clay's whereabouts on the night of January 2nd, 2006 and that was nowhere near JP's ass.

JP then decided to rehash last year's smear campaign in the hopes of getting it mainstream attention again in order to force Clay to settle with Holleman. One has to wonder if JP was promised a piece of the action, or will then take it upon himself to sue, hoping that Clay will settle with him. Fat chance of that happening. If Clay was going to avoid any bad publicity, particularly for something he didn't do, he would have paid off this jackass a year ago. It is a form of extortion.

It is believed by many that Holleman is working with JP now because she has alluded to there being secrets Clay and Faye want hidden. What better way to force someone who has money to settle than by creating a scandal? She may not have been the one who originally recruited Paulass - we don't know who exactly, although many have suspicions - but it sure looks like she and/or her lawyer has been feeding him info for awhile.

That's certainly an interesting angle. I never thought about Holleman and her attorney recruiting JP. I figured the attorney was recruited.

The attorney might have jumped on board just to make a name for herself. Holleman and Paulass smell $$$$. That's probably why the worm kicked into gear again. Plus, he craves the attention and wants recognition from Clay.

Clay does not know Paulass, they have not met nor have they ever communicated. Since Paulass has so much time on his hands, he should try to write fanfic. And use spellcheck.

What am I saying? Everything he wrote last year was fanfic.

Anon, that last sentence made Pepsi drip out of my nose

oh man... I don't know what all of the "conspiracy theories" are, but my offer still stands to testify if this goes to court.

The convo would go something like this.

"Are you a fan?"
"Yes."
"Are you online?"
"Yes."
"Did you hear about this book when it came out?"
"Yes."
"Did anyone communicate in any way to you, to not buy this book?"
"No."
"Did you buy this book?"
"No."
"Why didn't you buy this book?"
"Because it was self published, which means, to me, that it was so poorly written that a publisher wouldn't touch it. Also, it cost more than LTS."

Oh Crap said...

That's a large part of the story: Did anyone tell us not to buy the book? NOPE, NEVER! Would many fans normally have bought it? NOPE because most don't take kindly to someone making a name for themselves or making money using Clay. If fans had wanted to buy the book would they have? YEP! Fans want to grab anything Clay and something like this would be personal choice. Those that wanted to buy would have and probably did.

Those fans who purchased the DVD of Holleman's daughter's wedding to hear Clay sing felt ripped off. So they were already skeptical. Her writing skills as demonstrated in her e-mail plea to the fans was abysmal. She's a desperate famewhore looking to cash in on a very tenuous connection to the family. It's like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. She smelled a whiff of green.

I try not to think we are biased, because that is the dumbest law suit
I think I have ever heard about. I think Hollaman never expected this to go to court, thought she would be paid off. IT APPEARS CLAY DOESN'T DO PAYOFFS.

"IT APPEARS CLAY DOESN'T DO PAYOFFS."

One more reason I admire him so much. He's got nothing to hide and he will stand up and fight rather than pay them off to go away.

Part of me would like to see this go to trial because I would enjoy seeing that lying blogger called to testify under oath. I want to see him running scared and scrambling to extricate himself from the web of lies he's been spinning for the past year. I want to see him nailed, and not in the way he likes it.

However, I think this case will be dismissed. I do hope that she winds up having to pay Clay's legal fees as punishment for tying up the courts with a frivolous lawsuit and the aggravation she's put Clay and his family through.

Question: I know we have stockpiled JR with all the evidence he and the FBI need to put quite a few asswipes away for a couple of years but has anyone sent screen shots of Rockey's "book review" and her online campaign to try the case in public opinion from her site? She was pretty nasty in her commentaries; maybe the judge would like a copy.

Oh Crap said...

I meant has anyone provided screen shots to Clay's attorney, McGuire, in the case?

Truth Rules said...

I wouldn't worry about it OhC. From what I read it sounds like they've done their homework and are well prepared to handle this case.

WRU said...

It will be dismissed and the lawyer of this ladie will have to pay for Clay's expenses.

IMHO

Here's my take:

"Are you a fan?"
"Yes."
"Are you online?"
"Yes. 24/7/365."
"Did you hear about this book when it came out?"
"No."
"Did anyone communicate in any way to you, to not buy this book?"
"No."
"Did you buy this book?"
"No."
"Why didn't you buy this book?"
"Because I never heard of it. Are you trying to tell me, counsel, that Mr. Aiken allegedly posted on a small, obscure, out-of-the-way message board to discredit this book and didn't use his blogging privileges on his fan club? The OFC was up and running before, during and after the publication of this book. Our biggest complaint is Clay doesn't blog enough. Why would he post on a message board? In 4 years, I've never seen or heard of him posting on any message board."
"Your honor, I'd like to declare this witness as hostile."
"Hell ya, I'm hostile. You lying sack of $#!+!"

I Understand JP is in a couple of gay mags this week. Do we care? Because I
guess I'm bad because I don't.

Oh Crap said...

Just let me know which ones and I'll send them the truth. I know that since Holleman and her shiftless attorney are getting a little publicity and he is retracting his confession so he can ride that little wave. The time is approaching when the REAL truth will be shared with the media.....all asswipes' names included.

Anonymous said...

One is Out magazine. They name several so-called closeted gay people. Don't bother writing them.

Oh Crap said...

Yeah! Well, this shit has gone on long enough and it's time to end it.

OC, I am so with you...this shit has gone on long enough. In fact, way too long.... I wish there was a light at the end of this tunnel but I don't see it and that is frustrating.

Truth Rules said...

What I don't get is how can they print an opinion as fact.

Oh Crap
Is this really true? Can you please tell me when that time will be? How long is "time is approaching?" It's taken way too long already for the TRUTH to come out.

"Yeah! Well, this shit has gone on long enough and it's time to end it."

Again can you tell us when? The time can't come soon enough for me. These lowlifes have abused Clay far too long now. Please, please let it be soon.
