TURN THE BEAT AROUND

You know what? Let's turn this around and celebrate what's coming up in the near future. We have TV appearances and a set of Christmas Concerts to look forward to with mention of a tour in the spring..... lots and lots of Clack.

There's been enough misery from this MESS and those who choose to be miserable and make others miserable will get their just rewards. It can't come soon enough.

I am looking forward to seeing Clay on Friday!

I think it is a wise decision to leave the room and take away the audience. The performance has lasted too long and has become boring.

nzclaynz said...

Totally agree with you OhC.

This mess has gone on long enough - but it's never stopped my enjoyment of being a fan of Clay Aiken. No matter what - no one will ever ruin it.

Clay Aiken the singer gives me joy.

Clay Aiken the man reminds me that there's good in the world.

Clay Aiken's fans are some of the best people I've ever known.

There's lots to celebrate; Regis and Kelly on Friday, Tyra and the AMAs next week.

And then there's the Christmas concerts. Clay singing with a full orchestra.

Clay's voice is going to soar.

And God will smile.

What a wonderful blog!!! Attention is what "IT" wants. Like Clay said "Certain people have had enough attention". IGNORE the beast.

Anonymous said...

Amen, sister! Clay has made us proud in a thousand different ways, and we get to see him on our TV and soon we'll hopefully have lots of Christmas tour Clack. I plan to enjoy it all.

As far as JP, PH, BM, KCE, the Grinch, etc. are concerned - to quote a very wise young man, they're "a waste of mah time".
I will never be able to comprehend their over-the-top hatred for Clay and his fans. Anything that Clay's fans have done as far as exposing these evil people is a mere drop in the bucket compared to the venom, nastiness and pure malice displayed for all to see - and why? Simply to cause harm to one very good man and those that love him. Well, they can now drown in their own misery for as long as they want - I'm very happy to let them, but will not be getting into that pool of slime with them.

Thank you, again OhC, for this great blog. You've done good...

I think Clay will have it neatly trimmed like the way it was on Kimmel.

I loved KTLA hair - longish but styled "oh just so". Rawwrrrr.

Oh, and on KTLA, I loved when he said "there is no dirt; they have to make things up".

Truth Rules said...

The difference between the MESS and Clay is that everytime I see or hear Clay he puts a smile on my face.

Yesterday's KISS interview had me laughing out loud and I can't wait till Friday's Regis and Kelly show.

NZ - love reading your words.

Anonymous said...

The season is kicking off...Regis and Kelly. Tree lighting, Tyra Banks, Thanksgiving, time with our families then the Christmas concerts and clack begin.

WRU said...

Glad that Clay is going to be on R&K, Tyra and glad he is doing the small tour.

Bring on much happier days!

Oh Crap said...

I don't care which hairstyle he wears, I just want to hear it sing and talk to me. He's such thrill no matter what. Clay certainly got my heart pumping like new and it's been keeping the beat with him since the beginning. Siiiigh! I love him.

eye-witness said...

I love clay's hair long or short.

I will however guess that Friday clay will have shorter hair.

Truth, I sent you a message.

Truth Rules said...

Got it and answered you.

Anonymous said...

The hair issue -

Even though I feel the ATDW/People/Kimmel hair is perfect, I'm kind of intrigued by just how loooong he'd let it grow :)

Yep, it was definitely "grabbable" at UNCC.

Here's another - traditional tux for Christmas concerts, long jacket like JNT, or something soft and velvety?

Oh Crap said...

okay, okay! Nekked and his hair wrapped around my fingers.

NO?

Truth Rules said...

As long as it's not another white suit.

Anonymous said...

Oh, but Truth.........the white suit shows it all!

Oh Crap said...

I loved the white AI suit. That one fit Niiiiiiiice. Of course, the Holy Grail suit didn't fit so snug but who cared?

Unknown said...

Woohoo!! Just 16 more days and I get to see him in Waukegan and Merrillville. I don't care what his hair looks like or what he wears.

Anonymous said...

I love just about everything Clay wears - white suit, black tux, jeans, hoodies, suit, shirt/tie. I'm easy. The ONLY thing I didn't really care for was the vest thingie he wore at JBT, but I know those were chosen for the era.

And, "7:58 anon"!! Why I never!!! Whatever do you mean?

The pickle crap (did you know that pickle's crap? well, they do) is less and less the more I see and hear Clay. Funny how that works.

I've had some mucho-goodo therapy today listening to "If You Don't Know Me By Now"! (over and over and over) I highly recommend it.

topcop said...

Hey, it looks like I'm going to be able to get into the city for the UNICEF tree lighting after all. I am getting a scratchy throat though. I better not be getting sick.

Anonymous said...

I would love to revisit the black shirt/black leather pants from the first AMA's!

YUMMY!!!!

nzclaynz said...

" Oh Crap said...
okay, okay! Nekked and his hair wrapped around my fingers."

OhC - we are definitely on the same wavelength. I've had the exact same mental image...

Hey, he can wear his hair any way he wants. Short and spiked, moptopped and falling in his eyes, or long and "hot rock god" style. I do like the idea of the soft shiny locks that I can run my fingers through, but I really don't care. He's hot as hell any way he wears it....

*g*

Ooh and lets not forget that "All Is Well" is coming SOON too. Clack, Clack and more Clack.

TRUTH - thank you for the compliment. I'm just reminding myself what Clay has brought to my life - and I know it's true for y'all here too. And I like to think that God smiles when Clay sings...

'Night girls.

Here's an interesting clip from a Tyra Banks Blog/email re: Clay

Someone that has the freshest clean smelling breath is Clay Aiken. I know cuz he came on my show, and I had one of the most fun interviews with him that I have ever had. I am so in love with him. He is so funny, loving and just darn amazing. He even sang with me. Yes, we did a duet. I was awful. He sounded like an angel. Clay has the most loyal fans in the world. They call themselves "Claymates." I told Clay I am a "Clay-frican American," meaning that I am an African American that loves Clay Aiken. Get it? You gotta see how much fun we had. The show airs next Wednesday, November 22nd.

Oh yeah, and I ask Clay the one question that everyone is dying to know the answer to. You gotta watch!!!

Cleanest breath was Clay....I'm not surprised.

I cannot wait to see Clay on Tyra Banks. I wanna see the sparks and sizzling between the two. Only one more week!

Got a little story to tell, I loved it myself.....last weekend my son and I went out to dinner and I wore one of my Clay shirts. Our waitress saw my shirt and OMG she just wouldn't shut up!!! This girl loves Clay soooo much. She sat down at our table and just kept talking, of course I didn't mind the least bit, she was telling me she boycotted AI for 2 years, refused to watch it after Clay lost...she said in her heart Clay was the Winner...after about 15 minutes of non stop Clay chat she finally got our drinks, she was such a sweetie, that's the first time I met someone as crazy for Clay as me...

Oh Crap said...

jbc!!!! REALLY?!!!!! I am going to love the Holiday Season this year and nobody can spoil it.

eye-witness said...

We must have been very good this year cause we sure are getting a lot of presents from Clay!

well, i work at a school. One of the teachers came up to me to see if I knew about Clay's xmas concert coming up. (of course, i do....but love it when people think of me when they hear about Clay) Says her son (senior in high school) just loves Clay. She says her son, who is in choir, says Clay's voice is practically perfect. They are thinking about getting tickets for their son to see Clay in concert. I practically begged her..."please take him to see Clay"!

Oh Crap said...

Crew, aren't you going to ask that teacher to take you as well? I would be bringing her apples everyday.

WRU said...

OC, you going to the Snowflake lighting on Saturday since you live in NY:)

Oh Crap said...

Yes, WRU. I have had a long visit with my sons and will be flying back tomorrow afternoon. That should be enough time to make sure my makeup and long blonde locks are perfect, right? Just in case I can get close enough wink.

WRU said...

Take lots of photos!

nzclaynz said...

My oh my, Tyra sure did seem all touchy-feely with Clay, didn't she. LOL - she liked him alright.

It's no wonder Clay sometimes needs to pinch himself. Before all this there were plenty of girls who wouldn't have looked twice at Clay - but Tyra, one of America's most beautiful women, was all over him during that taping... Oh the irony.

EEEE, just a few hours till "Regis and Kelly"... or should that be "Clay and Kelly"?

Now - the hair. Will it be mop-top or long locks? That is the question... :o)

Clay was absolutly FANTASTIC today!!!

whoooosshhhh to watch again

Has anyone here seen the fan videos? They show what went on during the commercials. He and Kelly were so funny! He was so relaxed and interactive with the audience.

He looked really, really good!

Have you seen the pics the press took of him in the car? They were all over his car and chasing it!

Huuugs

Anonymous said...

OMG, he is awesome....just a wonderful, wonderful boyfriend. It would be so fun to have him on our TV's everyday.

Oh Crap said...

I haven't seen them Huugs so I gotta go looking for them.

nzclaynz said...

"I WANT HIM."

Me too..

He's so damn intelligent and quick-witted. Heck of a turn on. And he's got this sense of humour too. And that voice.. He was amazing today and by the end of the show Kelly was practically eating out of his hand. Someone needs to give him his own show already! Maybe today was some way of giving him some interviewing experience?

As for the deeply philosophical and important subject of the HAIR - I have to say, I do miss the bangs - but I'm SO conflicted, 'cause I love this look too. It's a little darker; and I always think that makes those stunning eyes more noticable. Grrr, what a sexy man - beautiful, sexy eyes, kissable mouth and soft, grabbable hair. Is it just me, or is he maturing before our very eyes? Gawd - he looks HAPPY y'all. Smiling, laughing, eyes sparkling; snark totally intact... and something else I'm picking up on but can't put my finger on exactly. Like some kind of new attitude or something. All I know is, is that I like it. Lots. I love seeing him like this, happy, confident, witty...

I love Clay Aiken.

And I WANT him. Really BAD...

*groan*

Oh Crap said...

I know what you mean NZ. He's always had a confidence about himself that's been so appealing but this is a new confidence. He's a more mature man who is very much in control and maybe... just maybe finally aware of just how sexy his intelligence and wit really are to women.

Fred Bronson said it quite simply one time about when Clay and the other AI-2 kids were choosing their songs for Billboard #1 Night. Clay walked into the room last and everyone turned to him. Fred said it was like the Chairman of the Board just walked in.

That's Alpha Male and I think he finally gets it about himself.

Oh, and he also looked like a dream and I think he finally gets that, or at least gets that we think so.

Anonymous said...

My 2 Cents -
I think Clay has always had a confidence with his singing and now he's getting it with being himself.

We've seen this on stage and loved him for it. Now he is being himself more on TV. I think we got a good dose of that today since it wasn't an interview with him getting asked the same old questions and giving the same old answers.

One of my favorite come-backs today was when Kelly said something about him being combative and going to put him over her knee and he said... And all I have to be is combative?

Sure, it was just one of many funny zingers he through out - there were a lot, but I think it showed a lot more of who he is - a funny guy with a great sense of humor and an adult who is not wearing a halo!

It makes him all the more loveable!

Nightowl said...

Reports are coming in from the Snowflake Lighting!!

Here's one: Reporting that a rep from UNICEF says that Clay is the nicest guy. What you see is what you get. Also said it is terrible how he is sometimes treated.

He's wearing a turtleneck! A turtleneck and that hair - just kill me now! And he is singing tonight!

Anonymous said...

Sorry! Just re-read - they are hoping for a turtleneck! Heck, I don't care what he wears, he's gorgeous no matter what.

Anonymous said...

Back again with more.

Some of the fans were talking to a guy from UNICEF who has met Clay a couple of times, and the guy say Clay is "highly respected" by the UNICEF staff and that not just anyone can be a UNICEF ambassador.

We know our guy is loved and respected but it's so nice to hear, isn't it?

Anonymous said...

The guy speaking from Unicef says that Clay's been with them every step of the way and he keeps saying Clay's name because when he does everyone screams! Hilarious!

Just got off the UNICEF threads - waiting for clack.

Apparently there are some verrry nice grey pants involved :)

I'm just so proud of him tonight. I hope the UNICEF event gets the attention it deserves.

QUOTE~ from Clay
"I got to this point and it’s a high profile job and on top of that, there are the rigors and pressures of being in the public eye all the time. And my absolute priority, more than having a good song, is to set a good example. I accept it as a responsibility."

Clay was sooooo GORGEOUS last night
the pics are HOT!!! THUD!!!

Anonymous said...

From the boards -

Back from NY and I guess I don't have to tell you how gorgeous he looked, I am overwhelmed. xxxxxxx
and I talking to the UNICEF Rep, he was actually the IT man, he said Clay is a very nice, very dedicated to UNICEF, very humble who you see is who he is, he also said that UNICEF has turned down celebritys because they didn't think they would be good models for their organization they are very above board and everyones background is extensively checked and the one thing that he said I didn't want to be put on the boards but after thinking about it there isn't any reason not to, he said that the things that are done to him are despicable, he told us a cute story about trying to transfer Clays manifest from Indonesia from Clays Mac to his and didn't know how to do it so Clay was nice enough help him in the transfer, he said here I am the IT guy and I couldn't do it, he was the nicest man, Clay is very much respected at UNICEF and that he is very popular his celebrity site has the most hits, he also told us that the snowflake has 16,000 crystals and that it took ten hours to put it up and that is very very big, it is beautiful

In closing, what this nice gentleman said tonight about Clay made my whole year, I never ever doubted Clay about anything and this man has just proved to me what I knew all along

Anonymous said...

I think every media was there taking pictures last night. One of them said it was highly likely one of them would show up in People! Getty, Wire Image, and a couple of others were there snapping pictures of the man! He looked amazing!

Gooooooood Afternooon, ladies!!! How y'all today?

Did you just about drop dead from all the gorgeous pictures last night and today. That guy just gets hotter and hotter, doesn't he....he's all grown up now and RAWR, he did a fine job.

The UNICEF info. touched my heart. Clay is well respected wherever he goes, no matter what others would try to get us to believe.

He is a STAR...and he is shining brighter than I've ever seen.

I LOVE IT!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Yeahthat I think Clay out shined that big star last night don't you? My God the man was looking good!!!!

superdeluxewonderful said...

Absolutely. He owned that stage. OWNED IT. He was so good with the kids, too. Did ya see the picture of he and the little girl looking up at the star? *sniff* I got all misty...

He has the respect of the people who matter in this world and I, for one, couldn't be prouder.

He is the real deal, girls...aren't we lucky we figured it out 4 years ago?

Truth Rules said...

"He is the real deal, girls...aren't we lucky we figured it out 4 years ago?"

I wouldn't call it luck. I'd say we are just very very good at reading character. And character is what Clay has in spades. We saw it. We knew it. We still know it.

I have seen Elvis, Bruce S., George Michael and several others. Clay tops them all! He is such an entertainer. Amazing!

I just love him and no one can take that away from me. I can't wait to see him in Charlotte and Greensboro and it's soon. YAY!

nzclaynz said...

Wow, everyone is just so excited since yesterday!

It's amazing isn't it? You know, one of the pictures of Clay holding the little girl and she's smiling down into his face? Yeah well - kids just KNOW don't they? It's obvious to me that she saw what we see. It's one of my favourite pictures ever - including the one where they're both looking up at the snowflake. I love that man. He looks so sure of himself these days; confident. There's this aura about him - and I'm loving it. I think our Clay is all growed up, y'all...

And it seems UNICEF holds Clay in very high regard. They said he works tirelessly, is passionate and committed to UNICEF and the children it helps. Some people think it's easy to get involved in an organisation like that - but not everyone gets to be an ambassador. It is an honor bestowed on those that show true committment to UNICEF's work.

I think we are good judges of character - and damn, I sure am glad I'm one of them. Those that don't get it will never understand just what this fanship is. It's like nothing I've ever experienced before.

So - I've come to the conclusion that the people who matter know who Clay is - the others don't matter... Simple really.
