What's Missing from these Articles?

Wow! Look at all these sites loaded with good press for Clay Aiken (links at Clayboard for actual articles)

I can tell you what's missing: Innuendo, snide remarks, insults, and outright lies. The sum of all this means that the main antagonist is missing. Fucking Roger W. What a difference his absence makes.

Wow - we think on the same wave length. Amazing what the absence of one publicist can do.

Clay's been getting great press lately. Deservedly so.

I totally agree. Things certainly have taken a turn for the better since Roger is out of the picture. Too bad this didn't happen several years ago - imagine what could have been done to make things better for Clay and the fans. Well better late than never.

I'm not sure how that works, but I'm not so sure Roger could have controlled everything that is written about Clay. But it is true he is getting better press lately.

Wellllllll, that's the function of your publicist. They issue releases going to the general public via newspapers, weeklies, magazines, et al. They tell the jerkoffs what they want conveyed and since this was an attack on many fronts ROGER controlled the type of press Clay was to receive. Kind of like.... what gay publicist would tell a gay magazine rep that Clay would "never give an interview to a gay publication"? One who knows what kind of attack would follow. Better he should be Simon Cowell's publicist.

Thank you for pointing out the obvious Oh Crap! There are far more people who enjoy Clay than we are led to believe!

I still do google alerts. Today I got one that made me sick. It was 10 questions relating to Clay, each one had a worse dig than the last. The thing that keeps me going is knowing that in 10 yrs. he will be known as great.
