Ok, so I took a nap around 5:30PM and didn't wake up until 10:30PM and I've been reading about Paxilgate. Soooooo? So what! One of the problems that Paxil is prescribed for is anxiety and Heaven knows that this MESS has caused us all a great deal of that.
Clay has admitted that he's human (imagine that) and that he gets ill like the rest of us. So what? This seems to be an issue twisted to fit the agenda of the low lives at the Swamp, Cootieville, Tinfoil Village and the CessPool Palace of PH. I find it odd that the biggest bruhaha is coming from two little queens who wish they were taking Mydol for Cramps. Maybe a miracle will happen and they'll get their wish. Let us pray!

We don't know that Clay is taking any anti-depressants. He implied that he was taking an anti-anxiety medication because of the fear of being in large crowds. He said this a year ago. I sure wouldn't be upset if he is taking an anti-depressant. I wanted some of that myself these past months after seeing the evil out to attack someone who wanted to do good.
Why are people taking what's said on hater blogs as truth. They don't know Clay or what he does. They make up stories and twist Clay's words to fit their own evil agenda. It's sick.
I would like to know what JPs and PHs point is if Clay is on Paxil. JP is just guessing because Clay mentioned he should have taken more meds. one time. Its crazy that Perez gets his info. from someone like JP. That just shows how bad his other sources are.
Of course, JP will really pat himself on the back if Clay is on Paxil or something similar. But the fans have discussed this before so this possibility is nothing new. There is also nothing wrong with it. As someone commented earlier, millions of people take these types of drugs every day.
The assholes would make a big deal of it though because they do that with everything else to make Clay look bad. This will make them look even worse in my opinion.

You know Truth, I've had that same thought, and I think it is absolute a strong possibility that TC is having a little fun at JP's expense. HaHa Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
If the Paxil leak is true, then Clay has enemies everywhere. Unfortunately, it probably is one of the gays on the inside feeding that to Buddy. It really doesn't matter at all if he has or is taking Paxil. Good Lord, who wouldn't after all of this crap he has endured starting with Jacob leaving in November, Jeannie Holleman in the mix for a long time and now Buddy. After much confusion, KMart confirmed today via its Sunday ad that it will be offering ATDW with a bonus track - "If You Don't Know Me By Now" - in the form of a digital download.
We don't know how the system will work, so we'll have to wait until Tuesday to see whether they'll be handing out vouchers or whether vouchers are enclosed in the CD packaging itself.
I guess the best thing to do is make sure the word is out there as best we can. I think we have done a pretty darn good job so far. This coming week should be interesting especially with the interview with Diane.

I had heard from several sources that Graham Colton was gay and that his relationship with Kelly was one of convenience that ended when the tour did.

We weren't sure what to expect in our first session with Clay. We heard that he was a nice guy, but one never knows with fame and success. But we're pleased to say that the Clay Aiken everyone came to love is still the same Clay Aiken of today. He is without a doubt one of the nicest artists we've had the pleasure to work with on the show, and can clearly see why his fans are so loyal.

Oh, I read one review this morning in which the reviewer...and I use that term loosely... says Clay was "overreaching"... which tells me that he thought it was full of glory notes and loud and strong, etc. Tells me he had a canned review of what he EXPECTED the music to sound like which wasn't at all like the songs we heard.
Oh I think the haters try to join every group they find to bring info back to the scum. It makes them feel important. Except for the former fans - I'd bet they joined after they wallowed in the swamp.
I know in the beginning I joined a lot of different boards looking for the one I felt most comfortable in. Most are free and accept anyone. And of course there are usually links to other boards.
I've even read some dividing up pay sites - to put one person on each site.
Oh well - - hate will eat you alive.

In order to find a good critic who knows music, it has to be someone 15 years older than Headbangers Ball. Shortly thereafter, music went to shit and made my ears bleed.

The bad reviews so far don't bother me at all. Usually, if you click around and research the authors, you will find a little more about them and where they come from. Nuff said.
Paulass is blaming a Clay fan for the fact that either he or one of his minions STOLE those covers from a private board? Does this piece of garbage ever take responsibility for his actions? Does he just walk through life blameless and point fingers at everyone else for why his life is so craptastic?
He's a sociopath and a pathological liar. He has no conscience. Everything is someone else's fault, never his. He's so screwed up his own life, yet he will never hold himself accountable for that. Blame Clay. Blame the fans. Never look within.
He's a total failure in life, at least since he left the service. Everything he touches turns to crap. He's a leech who uses people to better his own standing in life. If he doesn't get his way, he tries to destroy them.
Paulass was bought and paid for a long time ago. He sold his soul to the devil for a chance at celebrity. He has no discernible talent, unless you consider daytrading at the Quality Inn talent. That's why he needed to create a scandal. It's the only way this boil on the butt of humanity could get noticed. So he picked on Clay Aiken. He knew Lance Bass was already taken by Reichen, whose backstory he also stole. Just a leech.
So true, Art, we've heard it from their own lips. His first gift is his glorious voice, but he is also someone whose goodness shines through those beautiful eyes. Imperfect, of course! Is it all an act? I don't believe so. Does it really matter, if in the end what he does publicly has a positive effect on others? I keep wondering why so many think it's their place to attempt to destroy those good feelings the fans have for Clay Aiken. To those people: We don't need saving and it's definitely not your place to try. Go live your own life.

OH WOOOOWWW!!!!!! The I-Tunes bonus song that Clay co-wrote "Lover All Alone" is beautiful!!! He SO should have put that on the album!!! It's very touching.
Just got back from our CD Release party where I met up and sat with Polly Graf, a very elegant lady indeed. Not someone you would picture getting down and dirty in the trenches of the swamp. Her daughter was equally lovely. I may have grossed them out a little with my mouth but they survived.
Amazing how a night out to celebrate someone you love can make things right again. Sigh... I love Clay Aiken so much.
Calico, I'll have to hear that one. I do love "Lonely No More". Clay definitely has the gift.

Bless you - I have read that many times and have looked for it earnestly on the internet but never could find it. Key words kept running through my mind, but alas, I just couldn't remember who said it or enough of the key words. We need to copy/paste that every so often as a reminder. I have saved it now! OC and Polly - so glad you had a great time! And, OC, that's what I love about this fandom. Some are a little more "verbal" than others. In fact, some of us are quite different from each other, but we are united in one thing that does not waiver - our love for one Clay Aiken!!! We need each other - the ones who don't mind slinging a few trash words, and those who sit back and say "You go girl! Oh my!!"

I'm not lying, my husband adores Clay too and this morning during GMA on the 2nd song he even got tears in his eyes. I said, there's something about that voice that just grabs you isn't there? And he said, ya. He knows it. Clay has the IT factor and always will.
Lover all alone - should have been a track on the CD - everyone needs to hear it. Beautiful.

To help you along, and to celebrate today's release of his new album, "A Thousand Different Ways," we've come up with a four-step Clay-immersion program. Follow along, and soon you'll have embraced your inner Aiken.
The look
Clay's spiked hair is gone, replaced by dark locks and a more grown-up style. It's a "more relaxed, rugged and masculine type of look," said Durham image consultant Bev Dwane. The overall look is darker, and there's a sensualness to it, she said.
To replicate the image, choose darker colors. Mix the textures of your fabrics, and make them the sort that people want to touch.
The flavor
This one comes from Susan Goetcheus, owner of Poole's Diner in Raleigh and a celebrated mixologist. She graciously invented a Clay-inspired cocktail and e-mailed us the recipe, writing that she designed the drink to be "refreshing, not too feminine but not macho, alcoholic but retaining a sense of innocence, sort of sweet, very Southern, very American, but with a little kick and a little sparkle of celebrity."
The "Clay Aiken": Jack Daniels, a dash of Sour Apple Pucker, apple juice and sweet tea, shaken with a pinch of cracked black pepper and cinnamon. Serve on the rocks in a pint glass. Garnish with fresh, thinly sliced Granny Smith apples on a sparkly fruit pick.
Under 21? Delete the alcohol and substitute cranberry juice. Top with club soda.
The scent
For an odiferous ode to Clay, we stopped by Dancing Moon & Gifts, a new age bookshop in Raleigh. That's where we met Cherie Lassiter, who helpfully aided us in our quest to match a smell to Aiken.
She suggested wearing an amber fragrance oil, a "gentle, yet fiery" substance that can be worn like you would perfume. The oil is also sweet, she said, like Clay. And conveniently enough, amber can be reddish-brown, the color of -- you guessed it -- clay.
The voice
Pour yourself a "Clay Aiken." Gently shake the bangs out of your eyes.
Dab your wrists with amber fragrance oil. And pop "A Thousand Different Ways" into the CD player.
The brain spasms will float away.

I found this, this morning on GMC's website: Clay suffers from panic attacks.
Sept. 19, 2006 — He was the North Carolina boy who made it big on "American Idol." But for Clay Aiken, fame came with a price.
"And when I was in the room, or when I am in the room, the walls are closing in on me and my heart races and I don't understand it," Aiken told ABC's Diane Sawyer.
Aiken has suffered from panic attacks for years, a secret few people knew, until now.
Watch "Good Morning America" Wednesday and Thursday for Diane Sawyer's interview with Clay Aiken.
"I would look back and say, 'Why is your heart racing. … Why are your palms sweaty? What is the problem?,'" Aiken said.
"And I guess I just got to a point where I thought, 'OK, listen, you're not going crazy. I'm not going, I'm not going crazy.' And so I talked to my doctor and I said, 'Listen, here's the thing. I don't understand why I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack when I go into these rooms. I don't get it.'"
Aiken admitted that he takes Paxil, an antidepressant, to control his attacks. But they don't occur onstage when he's performing, as some might assume.
"No. I don't get nervous up there," Aiken told Sawyer. "I don't. I don't have any stage fright."
